I have learned that we always find exactly what we are looking for. Such is our power of manifestation and our minds. I have an abundance mindset—l believe in the infinite capacity for everything we need: love, wealth, health, acceptance, understanding, community, spirituality, etc. So I am judicious and precise with my thoughts. It is an art, not a science. It is also a practice. Like meditation, when I notice my mind drifting, I note it and return to where I am committed to being.
Nothing is simple. And that fact does not negate the goodness, grace, gentleness, or kindness that can exist within complexity. Pablo Picasso's portrait of Marie-Thérèse Walter sitting in a chair, thinking, looking, and being, big-brained and beautiful, made me think about the practice of living and expressing our values. Where our intentionality goes, as well as our less focused mind, indicates our principles. Be mindful of where you are looking.
