Plan ahead. Go online to find a museum near you. (Bonus: most have some time that they are free!)

See one thing. Review the exhibitions “on view” and pick one that appeals to you, whatever you think will be interesting, will be interesting. There is no bad or wrong choice. Go to that one thing. Then leave. Museum visits can and should be fun and short.

Get outside. Museums are often located on beautiful grounds and walking around outside and talking about number 5 (Do I care?) and if and why you cared about what you saw gives you a chance to share your values and interests.

Get food somewhere else. While some museums have amazing restaurants, most do not. Take your date somewhere else to eat!
