Hauser & Wirth has published a series of small books on their artists under the series name: “In the studio.” The book on Jack Whitten is tactile, aesthetic, and a substantial resource. The book contains many historical photographs, not surprisingly, of the artist in his studio and they are mesmerizing. Jack Whitten was an incredible artist, and this book helps tell stories of his inspiration and unique aesthetic. Well worth a purchase!
